Gronda – Modular Mirror by Pallucco

There are two versions of this modular mirror designed by Laciano Bertoncini available: a single mirror module and a cloth-stand module with a fixed part and a part that slopes backwards with a little pressure. Although the mirror-hook hanger is designed in the early seventies, it is still trendy and able to give bathroom, waiting room or hall a minimal look. At first sight Gronda, revived by Pallucco, seems a simple full-height mirror, but you only need to press it along the thin wavy line to discover that it in fact incorporates a concealed hook hanger. The mechanism consists of the upper part that retracts and the lower part that becomes a hook for hanging clothes or anything else like hand bags, camera and so on. The frame of the mirror is made from steel steel. The glass is only 5cm thick. [Pallucco]

That is a fantastic design very imaginative and a clever way to conceal what can be horrible looking items such as coat hooks and rails.
