This light and airy house is situated on a waterfront property adjacent to Tarban Creek, Sydney and designed by Stanic Harding. It’s connected to the garden and water but also catches the city views. A series of three distinct pavilions were formed linked by two open courtyards allowing the house to gradually step down the site. The courtyards let sunlight enter the house via the extensive glazing on the northern facades. The garden have different levels which all could be accessed through the courtyard. The use of the low pitch skillion form gives the house a the same look as most neighbours but the street frontage distinguish it from them. [Stanic Harding]
