It’s always interesting to see how architects manage to create a truly minimalist and modern houses that are still very comfortable and livable. Germann House by marte.marte Architekten is one of such houses. It looks like monolithic structure made of concrete but it’s more than that. It features a cool terrace and the extensive glazing which reveal the scenery and mountain panorama. Beisdes, the terrace faces the pond and small integrated stream, which blend in with their natural surroundings. The smooth exposed concrete surfaces find their counterpart in the interior in the tactile and optical softness of the white pine floors, built-in furniture and walls. Windows and doors are done in white aluminium that bring a touch of modernism and style to the interior.

Love the house! I really enjoy minimalism. A lot of people think that a modern design is not for living in there, with these pics, I totally desagree!
