Everybody wants to have a kitchen with modern appliances and equipment. There are plenty of things that simplify such kitchen duties, as cooking, washing the dishes, and storing food and all other things like tableware. To do all these things you need modern kitchen units, a good sink, a mixer tap, a high-tech oven and a high quality refrigerator. Although what if you want your kitchen to have comfy and unique look? You can add antique decor elements and furniture. You will be quite amazed of the effect. On photos you can find such kitchen design done by Katrine Martensen-Larsen.

[...] Brilliant designers think differently!  Katrine Martensen-Larsen decided to experiment with the combination of a modern kitchen and antique décor elements including furniture and boy, the idea clicked. There is always a different pleasure in viewing things that offer a balanced mix of the contemporary styling and retro ambience and this modern kitchen offers that delight. This kitchen has all the modern amenities which can make a life easy but it is the combination of the new and the antique which makes it look all the more special.via digsdigs [...]
