In case you think that the Cactus chair is too unusual for you but you still want a chair inspired by nature, you might like the Nelson Coconut Chair. The chair is looks like a chunk of coconut and is classic of modernism in furniture design. It was originally introduced by Herman Miller in 1955, and become a 20th century furniture icon. The chair has a simple, striking shape and is a very comfortable place to relax with a book. The chair’s cushion is generously padded with a thick, one-piece foam rubber and upholstered in supple black leather. The upholstery is molded into the simple, striking plastic shell, which is lightweight but sturdy. It sits atop a clean, bent-steel, three-legged base with tough nylon glides. The chair not only provides lounge seating comfort but also is very durable. { Herman Miller }
