New Concept of In-House Pool By Kos

Italian company Kos presented new concept of in-house pool named Faraway Pool. Pool as part of interior design always looks unusual and adds unique touch to any space. Kos’s product is one the most stylish pool on the market, which whole could be built in floor. One of the interesting features of this pool is modern asymmetric shape. Water hasn’t overflow, thanks to fissure, which doubles the pool’s outline. Of course, there is underwater illumination; the steps become sources of it creating amazing effect. This aesthetics model is also very functional. For example, it has the blower placed under the steps which ripples the surface of water. Anyway, having such pool is a real pleasure, unfortunately it is very expensive and not available for everybody. [KOS]

Noticed in the tag that it said “swimming pool”. Not very sure where the swimming takes place – looks to me like a glorified bathtub – mind you, not very difficult to make either.

Also noticed the “fissure” – which looks extremely unsafe to me. Pools of this sort usually have a something in place that can support the weight of a person, while still allowing for the water to pass through – this doesn’t. I see a few broken necks from this one!

All that being said: Does it look good? Absolutely…

Would I recommend it? Absolutely not!
