Soft Modern Apartment Interior Design
When two strong people renovate their interior design – one minimalist, the other – traditionalist – soft and modern look is the result. Franciso Costa, womens-wear designer at Calvin Klein shares a midtown apartment with horse trainer and manager John De Stefano.
The couple?s two-bedroom, 1,400-square-foot apartment is a reflection of both their tastes, a masculine middle ground that reins in everything from aggressively modernist artworks to nonthreatening animal bronzes. Everything is decorated by themselves. Combination of warm and dark colors is in great harmony around the apartment. Stylish look is obtained by using minimalism where it’s possible not to break living comfort. Altogether, the apartment is very classy and grown-up.

Ah, finally a place with books! I like the blend of minimalist and traditionalist, which keeps it from being too crowded or too plain. I like the use of textures as well. At last, a place I could move into!
