Creative Suspension Lamp Made of Plywood Pieces – Bau Pendant by Normann-Copenhagen

Wed, Aug 25, 2010 | Lamps | By Mike

Bau Pendant is a suspension lamp designed by Vibeke Fonnesberg Schmidt for Normann-Copenhagen. The sculptural shape of the lamp is achieved by connecting many circular plywood pieces together. All these pieces are colored in different colors and have different sizes. Thanks to that and chaotic connections the lamp is a perfect decoration that could make any room look unusual and creative. It easily can become a centerpiece that will wake up people’s curiosity. There are three different models that will be available in shops by October 2010.

[...] Colorful Plywood Suspension Lamp by Norman Copenhagen By Prisa, on January 13th, 2011 This suspension lamp is composed from many plywood discs in various color and sizes to make your interior design brighter. The way the discs are connected may looks chaotic but that’s resulting in a beautiful discs arrangement that looks fancy and stylish. The plywood finish doesn’t quite reveal its material identity since its bright color combination could looks “shiny” when the lights play on its surface.
