A creative, young family with an artist mom desired an eclectic space that expressed their way of life. The family worked with SVOYA STUDIO on their 100-square-meter apartment located in Dnipro, Ukraine that now consists of a spacious open living room, dining room, and kitchen, along with two bedrooms and two bathrooms.
The modern and eye-catchy design incorporated natural materials and various textures with white walls as the backdrop for the paintings by the owner of the house. As for colors, they are very different, and all shades of wood are extensively used in the décor.
Rustic wood floors are juxtaposed with minimalist white cabinets and stainless steel appliances in the kitchen. Reclaimed bricks from Yekaterinoslav were installed in a herringbone pattern on the main wall in the living room.
Two closets are hidden behind sliding glass paneled doors in the master bedroom. Behind the headboard is a dressing table that doubles as a workspace. Here you’ll see the touches of industrial style: cool hanging bulbs, metal and concrete.
Both bathrooms are outfitted with ceramic washbasins made by Sergey Gorban. Look at that sunny yellow bathroom with wooden accessories, it looks so bold and modern.
The kid’s space looks more than an adult’s one with a grey sofa and a cozy reading nook with cabinets around. I like the chalkboard wall, which encourages love to art and creativity.
