They say that floor lamps aren’t trendy today because they take too much space, which could be used for something else. But that’s not true! Sometimes are a floor lamp can make a statement in the interior, and it’s totally indispensable outdoors. Today we are sharing one of such lamps, a very eye-catchy piece that is to accentuate your interior.
Shift floor lamp by designers Ruder Novak-Mikulic & Marija Ruzic is a sort of minimal twist on the director’s lamp, it’s easily adjusted to provide directional and background lighting in a wide array of angles.
Despite its structural footprint, Shift is unbelievably designed to be flat-packed! To get so flat, the shade is made of perforated metal sheeting covered in leather, the diffusers are flat and easily placed, and of course, the wooden struts are long but not substantially wide. In three different sizes and a selection of wood finishes and colors, there’s one for every spatial requirement. The piece is available in black and white, with natural-colored wooden legs.
