London-based architectural practice, Andy Martin Architect, has designed the Mews 04 project. The original design of three barrel vaults was transformed into a contemporary ‘sine curve’ form, with three large curved double glazed units. The interior design includes details such as the entrance lobby’s floor is an elaborate mosaic of hand cut 10mm square marble pieces laid to repetitive wave form graphic. Three large bronze French doors open out from the conservatory to connect with the classical garden layout. A new floating stair divides the contemporary London house in two with a new roof light bringing natural light to the centre of the house. The design of the house is really luxurious and beautiful, and good taste is seen in every detail.
