If you want to have an idyllic vacation on an island like Rhodes, Greece, you won’t need much, and Mandalaki Design Studio proved it created a micro home, which is a perfect place to relax.
Called Monocabin, the little home lets you enjoy the views, breezes and just relax as much as possible. The home is a juxtaposition of modern, streamline design and organic surroundings. Monocabin is smartly designed to include everything you may need to feel at home: a kitchen, a bedroom, a bathroom, storage area, closet, garden-view terrace, outdoor shower, and fitness zone.
The cabin is all-white, both inside and outside, and the doors and windows are framed black to make them stand out and give the home a modern feel. White was used to make the micro home feel more spacious, and the furniture is sleek and minimalist to highlight this feeling. The kitchen features several white cabinets and a window instead of a backsplash to fill the space with light. There’s even a foldable kitchen island, which can be used for having meals when the weather is bad. It’s separated with a half wall from the small bedroom with a bed, a cabinet and an open wardrobe. A small bathroom includes a sink, a toilet and a shower plus a window to make it feel like outside, though if you want to have a shower outside, there’s such an option, too.
Outdoors there’s a terrace with some modern loungers and a small dining space. The only thing it lacks, to my mind, is a pool but who needs one when there’s a sea nearby?
