We all got used to glass and metal chandeliers, to even garden and chandelier in one, but a wooden chandelier? Wood is the most luxurious and eco-friendly material ever and a chandelier of wood looks unusual. Designer Mikko Paakkanen created this June chandelier for Nikari. Why June? Because it represents the summer aroma of wood, its warmth. The piece has standard fixtures that can house LED lamps. The pattern on the wood balances perfectly against glow of the lamps and creates a light that resembles the incandescence of a lamp sitting on a table. Such a chandelier put against a simple white ceiling, no matter where – in a veranda or in a living room – would remind you of warm summer evenings and would give you soft light.
