Futuristic Self-Sustaining House On Stilts

Futuristic Self Sustaining House On Stilts

The 21st century is time to stretch beyond the current limits of residential architecture and design, and show the possibilities that may come for sustainable housing. Set high above the landscape, the stilt-built house by the futurist designer Benoit Challand would include a wind turbine underneath and solar panels at top, providing all of its electricity. Inside, the home boasts commanding, completely unobstructed views of the mountains and beyond from its main rooms. Wood paneling lines the ceilings and interior walls of the home, providing a warmer touch to each area. A house on stilts is to conquer any landscape – a mountainous or a water one, so we’ll be waiting for technologies to allow us constructing it.
