House With Natural Wood And Stone Interior And Exterior
Litmus completely renovated this former home of an esteemed horticulturalist, preserving its original landscaping and relocating its main entrance. Visitors enter through a Torii gate, navigate over a stream and around a pond to the stone-terraced entry. As the entrance as the whole house’s interior are mostly done in natural wood and stone materials. Not only furniture but also interior walls are made of wood. A farmhouse kitchen, dining room and living room are one communal space with an outdoor living room. These space has a beautiful fireplace with custom natural stone cladding. The fireplace’s tube is also one of those things which could bring attention to the house of the whole neighbor because of its size and decorations on the roof. [Litmus]

A bit strange, but very nice

Interesting and overall nice but seems a bit massive and redundant in areas. I’d have stripped it of a few elements, especially the surround on the dining cabinet.

Not my style! To me this house looks more like a theme restaurant or part of a hotel.
