Large Siberian House In Eclectic Style

This large 640 square meter house is located in Novokuznetsk, Russia. It’s designed by Tatiana Rozhkova as a Russian fairy tale that meet all modern requirements for comfortable living. The house is made with Siberian firm and quality of pine logs of 260 mm. The living room is flooded with sunlight thanks to the thoughtful architecture of the home. The fireplace is the main focal point of this room. It’s seven meters in height and tiles with porcelain tiles. Each of its four sides has its own story and color. The combination of natural wood, leather, metal and ceramics around the house create an effect of “noble antiquity”. The fantastic cared oak staircase is another focal point of the house. The uniqueness of this country house, which was named Siberian Tale, the whole interior is filled with custom designs by different artists.

Thank you, really interesting. Actually,I was born in Russia in 1969 but my mother and I fled the country and settled here to England. To be honest, I didnt really care much about my russian past until my mum died last month, now I’ve been trying to discover as much as I possibly can. Seemed like food culture was as good a place as any to start from! You dont generally hear much about russian cooking do you? Anyway, I found a lot of russian recipes here that other readers might be interested in too.

Sorry to have to say this, as an interior designer I can safely say that this house is not eclectic.
