This stunning kitchen was created by Black Lacquer Design. It’s so airy, full of light, inviting and cool that I think I’d spend there a lot of time!

The whole space is decorated in mid-century modern style with a couple of industrial features. I love double doors and windows everywhere that fill it with light, it’s very important for creating an ambience. The color scheme is light-hearted: mint, blue, white, brass and light-colored wood.

As the kitchen is very spacious, there are several zones: a cooking one, an eating one and an office. The light and airy feeling in the kitchen is highlighted by the mint green color of the cabinets paired with that gorgeous encaustic tile floor and brass accents. I love the transition between the floors: tiles and warm wood, and there’s a jute rug on the tiles to connect these two.

The L-shaped kitchen island doubles as a dining table; a range of industrial stools creates comfortable seating. A comfy home office nook in the corner also has a lot of cabinets and a working tabletop, this isn’t a real home office but a comfy nook for writing and filling in the documents.
