Jerry Locati who stands behind Locati Architects and Locati Interiors which are internationally recognized in custom residential architecture and stands behind the Ontario residence for a couple’s property outside Toronto. The property has 10,000 square foot main house made of reclaimed wood and fieldstone which perfectly fits the landscape. It designed in rustic western style which could catch attention of every person who drives near by.

The main house is exceptionally transparent with big windows — some are as tall as 12 feet. Besides being made from natural material the house doesn’t hide or dress up anything, what make his rustic characteristics even more stronger. Most of the room’s furnishings, the designer says, are “low enough to allow your vision to go across” to the outdoors views. Taking an inspiration from mountain house designs it gets a traditional great room with grand fireplace. A strong outdoors connection is also felt in the bedroom of the master suite thanks to the external desk. In the result house is very nature-centric with all materials which was used to build it and everything what circles back to the outdoors. [Locati Architects]

The mixture of elements on this estate are just awesome. I mean anyone can appreciate the car collection and the in home gym but everything was designed so cozy in the living room just makes you want to sit down with family and relax. We used fieldstone on a recent project we had quite a time getting matching fieldstone in large quantities. Overall great house and great coverage by digsdigs

The rustic designs are very nice. There are many projects available in the freelancer.com under the PLANVIEW for the designing. Come and post your description about the designs you have to get the online projects.

Aren’t you glad that there are couples who are still raising large (8+) families? If not, this is a complete waste of resources.

A beautiful layout, equipped with everything a woman would want from a romantic and inspired musician as a lover. I would love to have access to such a whimsical nest to be seduced in by a man who would serenade me before throwing me on one of the many cusioned davenports!!! Very Romantic Home with much character and freedom. Thank you for sharing!!

I disagree with Yoka. Having beautiful luxurious things in large spaces is not a complete waste of resources. It just shows the ability of that person/those people to manifest everything they want in that area. It shows the infinite measures of imagination, as well as the universe. If they thought for one minute that they should downsize just because of limiting beliefs such as ‘being wasteful’, then I’m sure it wouldn’t have been built.

Everyone is worthy of having it ALL. Why put limitations on the imagination? Fulfillment is here for us all, and I’m SO VERY HAPPY that these pictures are here for me to see. I am adding them to my ‘hope box’ so I can create the same for myself. Beautiful.
