Lamps today are so various – they are made of so many different materials: wood, glass, concrete and so on. This one is made of cardboard. Seattle design studio Graypants presents ceiling lamps called Scraplights. The material is salvaged remnants of corrugated cardboard, the rests of the cardboard furniture plus reclaimed waste from the local area. The lamps are laser-cut into concentric circles to maximize use of material, then it’s stacked and glued by hand. The lamps are available in various shapes, they are very eco-friendly and ecological. These lamps look cool anywhere – in any room or even in a café.
