Traditional Alps Chalet With A Colorful Interior

Traditional Alps Chalet With A Colorful Interior

In the snowy Alps a cozy chalet is a dream where you can shelter from the nasty weather. This former farmhouse in Megève, a major tourist resort in the French Alps, was renovated by Belgian decorator Lionel Jadot into a spectacular chalet. The most impressive area in the house is open-plan living area, with a ceiling height of 12 meters. The abundance of rather dark wood is diluted with lots of colorful accessories which bring coziness, make it very inviting, and the giant windows provide much light. Through the windows the owners and the guests can also enjoy the stunning views of the mountains. The peculiar feature of the chalet is a traditional mountain retreat with a modern colorful interior with vintage touches and furniture from Africa, Asia and Europe.
