If climate allows, celebrating any holiday outdoors is a real pleasure, especially if it’s Christmas, a traditional family holiday that we are all looking forward to. We’ve rounded up several table settings for your outdoor Christmas, and we hope that they will become a source of inspiration for you.
Choose A Color Scheme And A Style
We usually continue the style we have around in our decor to make it cohesive, so if your terrace or patio is modern, keep it modenr, if it’s boho, go boho and so on. If you can choose between the styles, I’d offer rustic and farmhouse as the coziest ones and perhaps modern glam as a lovely and chic style. As for the colors, I’d suggest to stick to the holiday color scheme you are using inside and perhaps outsisde, too, to make all the spaces seamless. Need some ideas? Traditional red and gold, red, green and white, black and white with a touch of gold, green and gold and more laconic black and white or monochrome for minimalist and contemporary tablescapes.

Style The Table And The Space Around It
Whatever style and color scheme you choose, the table can be styled with various Christmassy items to give it a holiday feel: ornaments, evergreens, pinecones, winter blooms, gingerbread houses and people. If you are rocking traditional color schemes, such decor isn’t necessary, there will be Christmas spirit at the table anyway. Rock gold cutlery and sparkling gold or tree slice placemats depending on the style, use pinecones as card holders, try colorful glasses – these ideas will make your tablescape cooler. Play with the fabrics you are using, you may skip the tablecloth but use printed and bold table runners and matching napkins. Style centerpieces and hang some ornaments and garlands plus lights over the table to make the space around cooler, add pillows, blankets and a fire bowl next to the table to keep everyone cozy. Get inspired!
