Eclectic Designer’s Home With Turquoise Touches

Interior designers and artists always decorate their homes in such special ways and achieve such amazing looks that just leave us breathless. This is one of such cool homes, which belongs to interior designer Sarah Lavoine and is located in Paris. What I’d like to highlight is a great use of color: she used extraordinary deep turquoise in different spaces.

The living room is united with the dining space, and the whole space is done with white floor and walls; the sloped ceiling doesn’t make the space look small, on the contrary, it brings an airy feeling as it’s rather high. The whole space is pierced with black touches: there’s a statement geometric black wall that defines the dining space and some chic designer black furniture – a chair, a table and lamps. What I really love is the use of bold turquoise chairs and a coffee table on an emerald glass base – they stand out in an amazing way in a monochromatic space.

The master bedroom is done in the same style: there’s a white ceiling and floor and black walls. Again a monochromatic space is colored with a bold turquoise bedspread, an orange art piece and a green fabric covered nightstand. The upholstered bed and cool bedding makes the bedroom cozier and more inviting, and a choice of designer lamps adds chic to the room.

Another space where you can see bold turquoise is the entryway. Here you can see a statement wall in this color and an industrial metal staircase, and some mirrors of different shapes that highlight the wall even more.

There’s a creative designer’s working space done with a checkerboard table and chairs, a pink wall and several artworks, both sculptures and pictures – such a space is sure to make the owner feel creative and get inspired by its look.
