Bubbles is a seating system inspired by colorful yarn balls and can be fully customized
Modern designers get inspired by various crazy things for creating their furniture and accessories and this time, I think, these were colorful yarn balls.
Erez Mor’s Bubbles is a soft modular seating system that comes in units of three balls of different sizes and colors, allowing you to connect additional units in a fun way. By moving the bubbles, you can always change the sitting or reclining position you need inside the house. Mor’s bubbles are knitted by hand with two techniques: stockinette and rib stitch. Each unit comes in a different color, allowing the user to choose their favorite colors and mix them into one system.
The main goal of the project was creating a seating system that can be personalized in various ways and assembled like a game. In addition, it allows the user to choose the shape of the seating system and make his own quiet area. Such an idea will be a nice one both for adult and kids’ spaces, get inspired!
