This whimsy mini furniture collection is inspired by notebooks and back to school time and are covered with cork
Back to school time is on, and school-inspired items have never been so popular! Today we are sharing a mini furniture series inspired by notebooks – it looks cool and playful.
Malmo-based design studio Swedish Ninja recently released two products that merge metal bases and cork with colorful flecks to spice up your interior. First up is the Notebook Cabinet which is designed to store your stuff inside while highlighting photos, inspiration, or clippings on the outside, like a notebook. The doors are covered in practical cork, but not just any old cork. This cork has confetti-like bits of color mixed in giving it a fun, playful appearance. Pin up some notes and photos to the doors to spruce up the cabinet.
The oval Notebook Bench features a similar metal base that’s topped off with a piece of color speckled cork for moments of reflection or just as a light-hearted piece of furniture to add to your collection. Such furniture will fit both kids’ and adults’ spaces and will make the back to school time more fun.
