Surrealistic 18.36.54 House Finished In Reflective Steel

When I see this house, my first thought is ‘Wow’! Daniel Libeskind is the author of this 18.36.54 house in Connecticut. The name derives from the 18 planes, 36 points, and 54 lines of the spiraling ribbon which defines its living spaces. The outside is clad in mirror-finish bronzed stainless steel which accentuates and exaggerates environmental changes and lights. I love the crazy surrealistic shape of the house, and it seems that walls and ceilings frame hay meadows and distant foothills. The interior is also minimalist with furniture in fantastic geometric shapes handcrafted from locally harvested oak planks. Would you dare to live here?
